MP5-A Multiparameter Free Chlorine Analyzer

The MP5-A amperometric sensor measures chlorine along with pH, conductivity, temperature, and ORP.  It utilizes bare electrodes without membranes and is self-cleaning, allowing for long intervals between calibrations. It is ideal for many applications. It is low-maintenance, flow-independent, and both temperature- and pH-compensated. All Halogen Sensors are NSF-61 certified for safe exposure to drinking water and has no waste streams.

Self Cleaning with SensiCLĒNE™

Chlorine sensors traditionally are high-maintenance devices. Between changing out membranes and reagents, maintaining a constant flow with no pressure spikes, and constant calibrations, operating teams spend a lot of time interacting with the sensor. The MP5™ was created with stable calibrations and low maintenance as priority requirements. To that end, Halogen designed a simple but highly effective cleaning system called SensiCLĒNE™.

SensiCLĒNE™ utilizes the flow created by the built-in impeller to cycle special polymer beads over the three-electrode sensor and pH probe. This action prevents build-up, greatly reducing the maintenance required. The MP5™ maintains stable calibration and will typically need only a quick wear-parts replacement annually.

Lowered Maintenance

The MP5™ maintains stable calibrations and needs very little intervention from an operator. The SensiCLĒNE™ technology only requires a simple-to-do and quick-to-accomplish refresh of wear parts on an annual schedule. The kit requires minimal tools and takes only minutes. Better yet, the calibration isn’t affected by the change-out.
