NIVUS PCM Pro Ex and PCM 4 flow meters are portable flow measurement systems consisting of a transmitter for power supply, data entry, indication and data storage. Both have a sensor for the recording of data, and are suitable for measuring heavily polluted and abrasive media for both part-filled and full channels, in addition to a wide range of shapes and sizes of pipes and flumes.
PCM Pro Ex and PCM 4 are typically used by local councils, water and environment authorities, engineering consultants, test centers and experts in investigation for infiltration, determination of data records for the hydraulic calibration of discharge models, recording of planning data for storm water tanks, throttle calibration, verification of existing sewer systems, indirect influent monitoring, and temporary verification of process flows.
Both PCM Pro Ex and PCM 4 use Bluetooth technology for on-site diagnostics, which allows operators to monitor flow in dangerous situations from a safe distance. Both units have the capability to send data and error messages through GPRS in GSM networks. This allows for reliable and uninterrupted readings to be transmitted through an online portal and accessed worldwide.
